Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman has been a gymnast from the US for more than 10 seasons. She was a member, and captain, for the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team The Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics she took gold in both floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze was won by using the balance bar. This made her the first American gymnast in the Olympics to earn the most medals. The gold medal was hers in the team competition in the 2016 Olympics and made her and Gabby Douglas the first Americans to win back-to-back golds. She also won two silver medals in the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. She took a break of three years between each Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. She also was one of the gold medal winning American squads at the two World Championships. The gymnastics classes began when she was just two years old and is a fan of exercises on the floor. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in honor of her departed grandmother. Aly hopes to achieve an enviable career in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature along with socks and other garments will be expanded to include other items in the future. Fierce will be published later this summer.
